Love the flavour, live the benefits

Omega-3 is an essential nutrient and is an important component of every cell in our body. Unfortunately, the body cannot produce this nutrient and therefore it must be obtained from our diet. Omega-3s, namely EPA and DHA, found in fatty, cold-water fish such as sardines, anchovies, and mackerel, are polyunsaturated fats. Omega-3s have been found to help decrease inflammation, triglyceride levels, belly fat, elevated insulin, hypertension, cholesterol, stress, and more; all of which are determinants of heart disease. Omega-3s are also essential for children as vital building blocks for a healthy brain, eyes, heart, and immune system. A child’s neurological connections and pathways are laid down by age 3, but the brain cell development remains a work in progress until late adolescence. Throughout those critical years of development, Omega-3 fatty acids are the most important nutrient to feed brain function and improve learning, memory, focus, and concentration.

Studies have shown that consuming two or more servings of fatty fish per week can help lower the risk of heart disease. Many of us are deficient in omega-3 therefore it is crucial to incorporate healthy sources of fatty fish and omega-3 supplements into our diets.

One of the best ways to ensure you’re getting the right dose of omega-3 in your diet is through daily supplementation. Created by Nutritionist, Natural Health Expert, mom of three, and author Karlene Karst, Sea-licious omega-3 oils provide 1250mg of EPA and DHA in every teaspoon. Sourced from the purest and most sustainable anchovies, sardines, and mackerel, Sea-licious omega-3s are packed with the most powerful astaxanthin antioxidants to protect cells against free radical damage and give Sea-licious its signature bright, red colour. Sea-licious is made with all natural ingredients and fruit extracts, and sweetened with monk fruit to create unique blends of flavours: Tangerine Lime, Raspberry Lemonade, Tropical Colada, Natural Maple, and Kids Cotton Candy. You won’t get any fishy aftertaste or ‘‘burp backs’’ from Sea-licious Omega-3. The Maple and Cotton Candy flavours boast the added benefit of vitamin D3.

Proudly made in Canada, Sea-licious is sugar-free, gluten-free, non-GMO and contains no shellfish making it safe for anyone with shellfish allergies.  Most importantly, Sea-licious is third-party tested and 5-star certified by IFOS, the International Fish Oil Standard, and ISURA, ensuring that each batch produced is free of heavy metals, PCB, mercury or any other contaminants harmful to our bodies. IFOS and ISURA also ensures Sea-licious meets and exceeds industry standards for purity, potency and freshness.

Delicious on its own or add it to your favourite smoothies, yogurt or salad dressings for some extra yummy omega-3 goodness.
